– Opening during off hours

(Mornings till 1:30pm) Requirements: The minimum cost per group to reserve the gym during off hours is $275.00 Time: The earliest time that the gym will open is 9:00am. Groups are booked for 3 hours. Waiver: Signed waivers are required for all climbers and belayers. Anyone under 18 will need a parent’s signature on the waiver. Click Here to download our waiver. Climber Cost: $12.00 per climber – price includes a harness. Belayer Cost: A belayer is the person on the ground who takes the slack out of the rope as his/her partner climbs up the wall. In order to climb, you must have a N.S.C.G. certified belayer. For a group situation, we recommend one belayer to every 4-5 climbers. In the case of a school group: a) Parents can be involved and taught and certified to belay prior to the event. b) School staff can be trained and certified to belay prior to the event. c) A group belay lesson can be given at the beginning of the event for those who are interested A person must be 16 years of age to learn to belay. A group lesson takes 30-60 min. depending on the size of your group and costs $60.00/hour. d) Anyone who already knows how to belay, may be certified by a visual belay test given at no additional charge. . e) In the event that an additional belayer is needed, a staff person may be hired for $10.00/hr. Party Room: The party room is available with table, chairs and refrigerator. As are thetable and chairs upstairs in the loft. Both areas can be used for eating. You are welcome to bring in food and refreshments or have food delivered. Optional Rentals: $4.00 for climbing shoes. (Light socks are needed to wear with the rental shoes.).
